A simple easy to follow cauliflower and potato curry for all you. Best part of it is you can have it any time paring with roti, pooris , paratha or even steamed rice. I am sure you all will love gobi aloo curry.
Preparation time : 10 minutes Cooking time: 15 minutes Serves : 4 Ingredients : 2 potatoes cubed 10 to 12 florets of cauliflower ¼ tsp asafetida / hing ½ tsp kalonji / nigelaa sativa 1 cup tomatoes cubed 1 tsp or to taste red chilly powder 2 tbsp oil 1 to 2 tsp ghee 2 pinch garam masala powder salt to tasteMethods of Cooking : Heat oil in a pan . Fry the cauliflower florets and potatoes separately. Now heat ghee in a pan add hing and kalonji. Then add tomatoes and salt . Fry till the tomatoes are mushy. Add chili powder. Add fried potatoes. Add water so that you get a runny curry consistency. Let it come to boil. When the potatoes are almost cooked add fried cauliflower florets. Cook for another 5 minutes. Then add garam masala powder. Put off the flame. It’s done. Enjoy gobi aloo curry .
